Nash General Hospital

Nash General Hospital has established a reputation for excellence by putting patients first since 1971. We have always focused on the individual and thus were the first hospital in the state to provide all private rooms. Since then we’ve grown to become a 282-bed facility and function as the primary provider for Nash, Edgecombe and surrounding counties.

Nash General Hospital is home to the Women’s Center, Cardiovascular Services, the Critical Care Unit and thousands of employees who have dedicated their careers to provide the best medical attention possible. Our goal is to remain a beacon of hope and caring for all who need it.

UNC Health Nash Recognized as one of Business North Carolina’s Top 25 Best Hospitals in the State for Third Year

UNC Health Nash was recently named by Business North Carolina as one of the Top 25 Best Hospitals in the state for the third year in a row. The award is based on recent patient satisfaction scores and other quality of care metrics. Nash has moved up the ranks from the 22^nd spot in 2022, to the 20^th spot in 2023, to the 13^th spot in 2024.
